These Terms of Service and Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Course Rep website and mobile applications.
1. About Course Rep
Course Rep provides software tools that help students discover campus resources, access academic materials, connect with peers, and access student-to-student services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a binding agreement to use Course Rep. If you use Course Rep on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. License (EULA)
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Course Rep grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting to access accounts you do not own, scraping private data, uploading malicious software, harassing other users, or using Course Rep for unlawful purposes.
5. Content and Listings
If Course Rep allows you to upload content or create listings, you are solely responsible for what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the platform.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Course Rep may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features.
- Subscription length and pricing are displayed before purchase.
- Payment will be charged to your account upon confirmation.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device account settings.
7. Third-Party Links
Course Rep may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
Course Rep is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of content, listings, or academic materials.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Course Rep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Course Rep at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful conduct.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Privacy Policy
Your use of Course Rep is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
